SCF
Self-climbing formwork

SCF is a formwork system that climbs step by step with the building with the aid of an inbuilt hydraulic device instead of a crane – smoothly, swiftly and without vibration. All the platforms stay horizontal, as the SCF hydraulics operates with a height tolerance of max. 1% of the cylinder stroke – even when up to 16 brackets are operated simultaneously.

Efficient solution
Formwork stripping, transfer and erection are part of an automated work process. The ratio of bracket number to shuttered surface is adapted precisely to the building’s geometry. The SCF system is modular, i.e. all formwork and bracket components are designed as complete, self-supporting functional units – optimally adapted to the specific conditions on site. They can be combined with any modern beam and frame formwork.

Safe and versatile
It goes without saying that SCF Self-Climbing Formwork satisfies all the safety requirements of German, British and American standards. The formwork can be retracted by up to 90 cm so that conventional equipment, e.g. for bar setting, can be inserted between the building and forms.

Minimum effort
SCF formwork is capable of withstanding and discharging all the forces arising up to a maximum vertical load of 150 kN per bracket. With a maximum influence width of 8.5 m per bracket, shutters up to 5.5 m high and 17 m wide can be used. These are features that mean minimal bracket input per wall and cycle, less material for suspension points and fewer work steps.
